Thank You, Ethan: A Leadership Transition at Warren Village

Today, Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain and Warren Village announced that Ethan will become JA-Rocky Mountain’s next President and CEO on December 1, 2026. His last day at Warren Village will be November 20.

It is hard to overstate the tremendous impact Ethan’s leadership has had on our families and organization.

Ethan joined Warren Village in 2016. Over nearly a decade, he helped the organization grow considerably while also staying closely connected with the people at the center of our mission — single parents and their children looking to build stable, thriving futures.

"Serving Warren Village and the families who place their trust in us has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career."

More Than a Decade of Growth

Ethan presided over a period of incredible growth for our organization.

Over the last decade, Warren Village:

  • Celebrated its 50th anniversary, honoring five decades of helping families achieve sustainable self-sufficiency
  • Opened Warren Village at Alameda, our third campus, which doubled our capacity and just marked its first full year of serving families
  • Moved steadily through the uncertainty of the pandemic
  • Built the financial strength to cover lost childcare subsidies for our families when federal funding was disrupted this past year

This fall, the Denver Business Journal named Ethan one of Denver’s Most Admired CEOs, an honor well-deserved.

A Team Built to Last

Even with all of his achievements, Ethan is quick to share the credit. “I am deeply grateful to our staff, board, donors, partners, and the remarkable families whose resilience and determination inspire our work every day,” he said.

That team and culture are among his greatest contributions. Ethan built an experienced, deeply committed staff and gave them room to lead and grow. He helped build an engaged Board of Trustees and longstanding relationships with partners, donors and community leaders. We are confident that strength will carry Warren Village forward.

“Ethan leaves Warren Village with a strong foundation, financial stability and deep relationships across our community,” said Board Chair Tasha L. Jones. “His leadership has expanded Warren Village’s impact while keeping our mission and the families we serve at the center of our work.”

What Happens Next

For the families we serve, nothing changes — programs, services and support will continue as across all three of our campuses.

Ethan will lead Warren Village through November 20, working closely with the Board of Trustees and leadership team to ensure a thoughtful transition. An interim leadership plan will be in place before he departs. In the coming weeks, the Board will begin a deliberate, transparent search for Warren Village’s next President and CEO.

We’ll share updates on the transition and the search as they take shape.

Thank You, Ethan

Board Chair Tasha L. Jones notes that no chapter in Warren Village’s history has ever been written by one person alone. Ethan’s was written alongside families, staff, volunteers, donors and partners, and that same community will carry us into what comes next.

Thank you, Ethan, for over a decade of extraordinary service. We can’t wait to see what you do next.
