Family and Community Support at Ivy Crossing

Warren Village at Ivy Crossing is a partnership between Warren Village and FCP/BMC Investments, located at Ivy Crossing, one of FCP/BMC Investments’ Denver properties. Ivy Crossing is a 1,000+ unit, market-rate, workforce housing apartment complex in southeast Denver. Warren Village runs several programs at this location that Ivy Crossing residents can access, including Mobility Mentoring™ (an economic mobility coaching program), Kids’ Club, a food pantry, resource referrals, and community events.

Community Resourcesat Warren Village at Ivy Crossing

Warren Village staff at Ivy Crossing can provide  referrals to resources in the community to residents of Ivy Crossing. These resources can assist residents in keeping safe and stable housing.

Resource referrals are available for the following:

  • Rent and utility assistance
  • Employment and education
  • Benefits assistance, including food, childcare, and Medicaid
  • Mental health counseling
  • Financial/budgeting coaching
  • Towing
  • Legal assistance

Warren Village staff at Ivy Crossing work with interested residents to set, plan, reach, and sustain goals through the Mobility Mentoring™ economic mobility coaching program. Residents work with staff to set their personal goals in five essential areas: family stability, well-being, education and training, financial management, and employment and career management.

Using The Bridge to Self-Sufficiency, a blueprint for residents to set their own goals, residents work together with staff in prioritizing what they’d like to work on, strategizing around potential barriers and challenges, and thinking through options for additional resources and support. Residents who complete this year-long program with Warren Village at Ivy Crossing may receive a total of $400.

Kids’ Club is a holistic program that includes activities that enhance social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and creative health. Activities include physical games, arts and crafts, STEM, and homework help. We have partnerships with several community organizations in Denver who provide guest speakers and opportunities on a regular basis. Children between the ages of 5 and 14 who are in kindergarten and above, up to a total program size of 24, are welcome!  Kids’ Club runs 3:30-5:30 pm during the school year and 2:30-4:30 pm during the summer.

Our Food Pantry is stocked through community partnerships and aims to alleviate some of the pressure of the rising cost of food and basic needs. The food pantry is open to all residents of Ivy Crossing by appointment during our regular program hours, as well as on the second and third Friday mornings of every month.
