Meet Reba Jones, Miss Mile High City 2025 and Warren Village alum and Board of Trustees member. From the outside looking in, back in 2017 Reba and the father of her kids had the American dream going – a house on the golf course, two Mercedes in the garage. Behind closed doors, Reba was experiencing domestic violence and losing more of her voice and herself every day. Reba and her two children left hat life behind for a fresh start at Warren Village, where Reba was able to build herself into the powerhouse she is today.

Kayce is a resident at Warren Village, a parent of two, a full-time student working toward his Master’s in Social Work at Metro State University, and an intern at the Colorado Health Network. Last year, he also became a community advocate for people with medical debt.

Food Services Coordinator, Marco Basurto, brings smiles and healthy meals to the Warren Village Early Learning Center students every day. Marco joined the team nearly three years ago, and since then, his food has become well-loved.

Many residents began the summer by celebrating graduation from higher education programs. Resident Krystal, who moved into Warren Village in 2021, graduated on May 12 from Metro State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Criminalistics. 

The path to sustainable housing begins with a resident finding their footing and settling in when they move into Warren Village and connecting with their family advocate, and it ends with that resident moving out to stable housing.
