Earth Day: ELC Sends Ladybugs Flying!

Fly, ladybugs, fly!

In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, our young environmentalists at the Early Learning Center participated in a ladybug release!

Ladybugs eat pests like aphids, making plants healthier and reducing the need for chemical pesticides. All in all, they help create a more balanced ecosystem.

Our ELC kids had a blast holding them and setting them free. A few of them painted handmade leaves for their ladybugs to land on. Some students were a little scared, so they safely observing from a distance.

Here’s to an Earth Day tradition at our ELC!
