Healthy Beginnings Clinic
Healthy Beginnings is a University of Colorado School of Medicine student-run pediatric clinic that provides convenient, free healthcare services for the residents of Warren Village. The weekly on-site clinic offers pediatric clinical experiences for first- and second-year medical students and a venue for second-, third-, and fourth-year medical students to gain clinical management skills. The students learn how to interview children and parents, examine children and give treatment plans. Students in the Healthy Beginnings program also facilitate “Growing Years,” a health education Life Skills Class offered once a month to Warren Village residents.
