On October 15th, our Board of Trustees appointed Andrea Stiles Pullas as interim CEO of Warren Village.

Andrea will serve from November 21, 2026 through March 31, 2027, while the search for Warren Village’s next President and CEO begins.

Ethan Hemming concludes more than ten years as President and CEO on November 20.

About Andrea

Stiles Pullas has spent 25 years in social impact work across nonprofit, for-profit and social enterprise organizations, concentrating on financial access, workforce development and the basic needs infrastructure families rely on.

She is currently CEO of Prosono, a Denver social impact consultancy, where she led the firm through founder succession. Earlier she held a leadership role at Engineers Without Borders USA, where she supported CEO transition and operating continuity through the pandemic, and at Mi Casa Resource Center, where she directed a team raising $3.2 million a year. She helped build Colorado’s first stackable credential pathway, serves on the board of the Attainment Network, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and holds a master’s degree in community and regional planning from the University of Texas at Austin.

“Andrea knows this organization, and she knows how to steady one through a leadership change.”

A Steadying Hand in a Transitional Moment

Stiles Pullas has served on the Warren Village Board, its strategic philanthropy taskforce, and its public policy subcommittee, so she arrives already knowing the organization’s programs, its families and its partners. She takes a temporary leave from the Board for the duration of her interim service.

“Andrea knows this organization, and she knows how to steady one through a leadership change,” said Tasha L. Jones, Chair of the Warren Village Board of Trustees. “Our families, our staff and our partners will feel the continuity of the work rather than the mechanics of a transition. That is what we have asked her to protect.”

The interim assignment was a deliberate and careful decision. Warren Village’s vice presidents will continue to lead their areas. The interim CEO’s work centers on four things: keeping operations steady with no shifts in strategy, supporting the executive team, sustaining relationships with funders, partners and policymakers including continued advocacy on the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program, and preparing the organization for its next permanent leader through budget readiness and a clear onboarding plan.

What’s Next

The Board’s CEO Search Committee, established October 2, is selecting an executive search firm this fall and expects to recommend Warren Village’s next President and CEO in early 2027. Final selection and appointment rest with the full Board.

“Ethan leaves Warren Village strong, growing and well positioned,” Jones said. “Our job now is to carry that forward with care.”

Housing, the Early Learning Center and family support services continue without interruption across all three locations throughout the transition.

About Warren Village

Family homelessness in Denver has risen 150% since 2022. Warren Village gives families a place to breathe – and the tools to thrive.

For over 50 years, we have empowered thousands of low-income, single-parent families in Denver to achieve economic independence, disrupt cycles of poverty, and write their own stories.

It starts with our Two-Generation (2Gen) approach, which nurtures both parents and their children. We provide families with safe, high-quality affordable housing with an onsite early learning center. As kids learn and grow, so can the adults: parents have access to workforce development resources, college advancement support, and mental health care – all in one supportive, caring community.
